Portsmouth, who travel to Edgar Street on Friday, have a busy week in front of them.
Tonight they are at home to AFC Wimbledon in the Papa Johns Trophy, they have a FA Youth Cup game on Thursday, and finally the FA Cup tie at Hereford.
Manager Danny Cowley has several players recovering from injury and may have to include some youth team players in his squads.
“Where we are with player availability is not ideal, but we have two cup games this week," said Cowley
“We’re looking forward to them, are going to attack them with real positivity and look to progress in both competitions.
“There will be slightly less recovery with the second game on Friday and so that’s something we need to bear in mind.
“We will try to manage the selection intelligently and have used the Papa Johns Trophy in a really positive way so far."
Two of his midfielders are back in contention.
“Tom Lowery has trained fully with the group again, which has given everyone a lift, while Marlon Pack was back on the grass for the first time.
“They’re both key players for us and so to have them back sooner rather than later will be good for everyone.”
