Hereford goalkeeper Brad Wade is on the road to recovery but it's not certain whether he will be fit enough to play against Portsmouth in the FA Cup on November 4th.
He sustained a bad injury to his arm in the home game against Gloucester on August 29th.
"I'm getting there," said Wade.
"It's been a long nine, ten weeks but really have been working hard to get back fit.
"All I want to be doing is playing.
"I've been doing stuff outside of football re-hab, two sessions on top of the stuff I've been doing here with Aaron.
"It seems to be sped up my recovery time so hopefully not too long left now."
Will you be able to play against Portsmouth?
"I've no idea, I couldn't tell you.
"There were targets that we set for me to be back playing and we're well on the way to doing that but I'm not sure at the minute.
"I trained the other day just with the keepers and it was okay but I need to get a full week of training in and we'll access it from there."
Whether he plays or not Wade said it's a fantastic draw for the fans.
"Hopefully we'll have a full house and have a real good go."
