Former Hereford United loanee Richard Brodie is the new manager of Skelmersdale United who are in the Northern Premier League West Division.

Brodie came to Hereford on loan from Gateshead in 2013. He was well known to then manager Martin Foyle.

He made eight appearances for the Bulls scoring once before returning to Gateshead.

A journey man, Brodie played for 20 clubs during his career.
