Hereford have suffered a third defeat in four matches, losing 2-1 at Brackley Town.
Callum Stead’s goal on the break seven minutes before half time gave Brackley the lead, and then Hereford conceded a second goal right at the start of the second half. A long throw wasn’t dealt with by Hereford, and Cosmas Matwasa turned the ball home.
Josh Gowling made late changes, and Jack Evans scored a goal in injury time after good work to pull one back from Hereford. But it was too little, too late.
