Hereford FC are delighted to confirm that Sellebrity Soccer is set to return to Edgar Street for a second season.
Two teams packed full of celebrities are set to put on a show at Edgar Street on Sunday 11th September.
Last year the Sellebrity Soccer event saw over 1,000 fans turn out to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrity, whilst helping to raise in excess of £5,000 for local charity, Herefordshire Mind.
David Harding from Herefordshire Mind said: “On behalf of everyone at Herefordshire Mind, I want to say a huge thanks you to Hereford FC and, in particular, Joanie Roberts for their support in arranging such an amazing event. Sincere thanks are also due to Sellebrity Soccer and the celebrity teams for providing such a great match and giving their time so generously. I would also like to thank our partners at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Suicide Prevention Partnership for creating some wonderful resources to share knowledge of the support available across the county to assist people’s emotional wellbeing.
Finally, I would like to thank the wonderful people of Herefordshire for making the match such a wonderful event and turning out in such numbers.”
This year we’re delighted to welcome Ely Memorial Fund as our official charity.
“The Trustees of the ELY Memorial Fund are overjoyed to have been approached by Hereford Football Club who are organising a football match with Sellebrity Soccer in aid of ELY on Sunday 11th September.”
Celebrities for this year’s match will be announced over the coming weeks so keep an eye out to see which stars will be taking to the Edgar Street turf this year!
Hospitality and VIP packages will be announced very soon!
