Spennymoor Town are staying overnight close to Hereford before tomorrow's game at Edgar Street.
"We going down the night before but the most important thing is that we get off to a flyer.
"They've got everything to play for, it's their first game of the season in front of 2,500 fans.
"You know fans, every ball they give away they'll get on their back.
"I think we've just got to be hard to beat especially first twenty minutes.
"If we give ourselves a platform to build on in terms of keeping the ball, don't give it away, quick restarts when we have to be, slow restarts when we can be.
"Hereford play out from the back, but if we can get in their faces and impose ourselves on them, Spennymoor sides have always been hard to beat.
"The game starts nil nil. You start with a clean sheet so if you can finish with one you've got more chance of winning the game than losing it.
"But there's no point in keeping clean sheets if the forwards aren't scoring goals but if we are going to concede three let's make sure we score four."
