Hereford manager Josh Gowling spoke to Keith Hall after this afternoon's friendly at Hednesford which the Bulls lost 1-0.
"It was a good first half," said Gowling.
"I think they put it on us especially the first ten minutes, that's their third friendly I think. You could see they are just a bit ahead of us.
"I think we got a lot of balls in the box which was pleasing. We looked a bit of a threat in the box which was pleasing.
"I thought the two centre halves looked very comfortable and we got both full backs forward. Evans on the left was different class.
Is he a trialist?
"We shall see".
A different set of players for Hereford in the second half including seven trialists one of which was named - Thierry Latti-Fairweather.
"Latti has come in from Burton, we're looking at him. He's been training with us for a while so we'll make a decision on that this weekend. He's a signed Burton player. We've got a good relation with Burton.
"He's a good kid, he did well at Guiseley last year. He gets forward really well, he's tidy on the ball. We do like him, hopefully he'll be with us for a bit longer."
What about those who have signed?
"Ty gave us some really good experience, something we've missed. We could drop balls into him.
"I think the stand out one today was Harry. He's come back fit, he's done a lot of work away from the club. He looked outstanding today.
"We need to give the lads minutes, we've got a game on Wednesday, we've got a few spots to fill yet so we'll keep looking.
"But it's probably the first time we've named an eleven, a settledish squad going into pre-season. So now it's about them learning to play together and we'll have a few additions along the way."
