Close to 2000 spectators watched last Saturday's 'Legends' match at Yeovil in aid of the Adam Stansfield Foundation.
In very warm conditions the match between Yeovil Legends and South West Legends ended 3-3.
According to DevonLive the match was arranged by former Yeovil Town striker Kevin Gall and Glovers employee Anny Carter to raise money for the Adam Stansfield Foundation and to pay homage to the man who served Yeovil, Hereford United and Exeter City with such distinction.
Amongst those playing was Hereford manager Josh Gowling.
The game was kicked-off by Adam's eldest son Jay who is with Fulham and was refereed by Trevor Kettle not the most admired referee in the South West and around Hereford.
He was booed whilst being interviewed before kick-off but he got his own back on Yeovil fans by reminding them he was in the Football League whilst the Glovers will be in the Conference next season!
