Obviously Covid has had an effect on attendances at Edgar Street in the current season.
Meanwhile a quick look back to 2018/19 shows that the first four home games of the season produced an average gate of 2694. Admittedly first games of most seasons are usually well attended.
However these games were the last four with Peter Beadle in charge.
The first four league games of this season averaged 1735 taking into account the figure of just 1197 for the Leamington game which BN believes is incorrect.
Leaving that game out and taking into account the first three then the average is 1948. That's 746 less than 2018/19.
