Given that both York and Alfreton won their National North League games last night, Hereford manager Josh Gowling said that Saturday's game at Spennymoor is a must win if his team are to have any chance of reaching the play-offs.
"We're four points out of it now," said Gowling.
"Going into three games, realistically we've got to win every game.
"I think before tonight it was what we do not the others and them getting those results means that we've got to hope that other teams drop points but we're going to fight all the way to the finish until it's mathematically not possible for us to get into the play-offs.
"We'll go to Spennymoor and we're going to look to win. Then we've got Brackley on the Monday.
"So we'll go as best we can to make sure we get results and wait for somebody to slip up."
Spennymoor also need to win on Saturday if they are to have any chance of reaching the play-offs. They have a one goal better goal difference than the Bulls but are level on points.
"At the end of the day if we lose on Saturday that's it done, if they lose it's the same for them.
"Winner takes all!"
