In his post-match interview Bradford PA manager Mark Bower said Hereford's three first half goals were 'poor goals to give away'. He also blasted the referee for only giving six minutes of time added on.
"We were a bit unfortunate with the first goal, the lad has scored from his shoulder.
"The second one we got caught out with a quick throw in, then one on the counter attack. Poor goals to give away.
"By half time you've had a performance where I thought we did okay against them.
"We came out for the start of the second half. Their lad gets sent off and we get in the ascendancy and score a couple of goals.
"The referee sent off their lad which looked like a second yellow card to me and then the penalty, we can't see it from where we are but our lads say it was hand-ball. So he's given us two correct decisions.
"Then he proceded to give us absolutely nothing.
"Six minutes added is an insult to people who pay to come and watch. I thought the ball probably spent 15/20 minutes in play second half.
"With everything that went on, the ball spent so much time out of play we were expecting maybe ten minutes to be added and he put six on.
"The first four of those was spent with one of their players down, the following five and a half minutes he stopped the game three times for nearly a minute each time and didn't add any on.
"Nicky Clee was booked for kicking the ball and it hitting someone. I've never seen anything like that.
"And it just spoiled it really, just completely spoiled the second half.
"Having said that we never did enough to break them down. Once we got to 3-2 you thought we would push on but they sat deep and to be fair to them defended well."
