There's little doubt that scouts come to Edgar Street on a regular basis. After all their job is to watch players who have the potential to play at a higher level.
Last Saturday one particular scout was sat close to the media area. Of course it's not certain whom he might be watching in particular but with today's news that Maziar Kouhyar is the National North League player of the month the chances are it was him.
After Saturday's game Kouhyar was asked if he felt it was a compliment that scouts were watching him.
"It is a compliment at the end of the day," said Kouhyar.
"I don't think too much into it, I just take every day as it comes. I don't really think about that kind of stuff.
"I don't really read a lot of stuff online. After a game I don't go online too much, I don't read people's comments that much.
"Things that I read I just take it with a pinch of salt.
"The next game is the most important so that's what I think about."
Former Hereford FC general manager James Watts looks after Kouhyar and also Dinesh Gillela for sports consultancy company Be.
