After Saturday's game against York, Ben Pollock spoke to the media. The Hereford defender has been ever present in the starting eleven this season.
So how did he feel the game went?
"Quite pleasing to be honest," said Pollock.
"They are a good team. They are up and around where we want to be.
"I like to think we dominated the game. I thought we attacked well, we defended well.
"The goal we conceded was a decent move by them but I think on reflection we could probably have done better
"Overall I'm quite pleased how we played and more importantly the spirit of the team, the desire to get the equaliser and try and push for a second goal.
"Last week the game (Southport) was a little flat so I think we needed a performance like that today just to show everyone what we are about because that is us, last week isn't us.
"In the main we try to get to half time 0-0 and then we try to push on in the second half.
"I watched their goal at half time. It was quite a well worked move from them but, on reflection, may be we should have done better.
"We try and get to half time because we have got a good array of attackers, we move the ball well up there. So I feel we'll create chances and if we defenders can keep the back door shut we can give the forward lads a good base to play off. "
Pollock was given the job of marking former Hereford player Lenell John-Lewis.
"I knew going into the game I would be playing against Lenny and I was excited for it because I've trained with Lenny.
"Lenny is a really good player. I've learnt a lot from Lenny by just watching him and training with him.
"So I pulled him in the tunnel and said are you ready for a good battle and obviously he said yes.
"I was excited to play against him because for me as a younger player going up against people who has proven themselves in the Football League it's a really good task for me to try and do.
"I enjoyed it we had a good battle.
"When he played for us he scored a lot of goals, Lenny is going to score a lot of goals so I knew it was going to be a hard task.
"With Lenny you've got to keep switched on for 90 minutes so I tried to just keep on him and make sure I did."
Returning after suspension Krystian Preace partnered Pollock on Saturday.
"I'm in a fortunate position because I get with two very good centre halves in both Jamie (Egan) and Chief. Chief is like a big brother for me in a football sense because he gets his arm around me.
"Everything we do in training and games he tries to guide me so I feel really lucky to work with Chief because he's a brilliant footballer.
"And then Jamie, it's almost like roles are reversed where I try and get my arm around him because he's a brilliant player so I pass the stuff I learn off Chief to try and help him. He's got a very bright future.
"I feel I'm very fortunate to play with both of them."
