Darlington are to support Ukraine on Saturday. The National North League club will wear yellow and blue kit in their game against Blyth Spartans.
They will also be fundraising with the proceeds going to a refugee charity.
Darlington have released this statement:
"We approached the National League and our opponents, who swiftly agreed to the idea - we would like to thank them for supporting it.
“The invasion of Ukraine has led to a huge outpouring of support for the people of Ukraine from all around the world, and in our own small way, we would also like to give our backing.
“We intend to hold a bucket collection on Saturday, the proceeds of which will go to a refugee charity, and we also encourage our fans to wear their yellow DFC shirts in support of Ukraine for the game."
