Hereford midfielder Ryan Lloyd missed last night's game at Kidderminster but manager Josh Gowling hopes he will be back for the Chester game on Saturday.
"He's had a bit of a spasm in his back," said Gowling.
"We thought he would be alright, he came to training yesterday but it just didn't settle down. He wasn't quite ready
"I thought we missed him today, I thought we missed his physicality, I thought we missed his energy in the middle of the park.
"I thought at times we were over-run in the middle of the park even before the sending off.
"We do miss him.
"It's one of them. He's working with Aaron at the moment so hopefully we'll have him back for Saturday, fingers crossed.
Harry Pinchard came on as a sub late in the game.
"All the Kiddy fans were signing who are you!
"I think our fans were probably thinking the same thing after we've not seen him for so long.
"Brilliant to see him. It's good to get him some minutes. We wanted to save Maziar's legs a little bit."
