Spectators Banned From Attending Football In Wales From Boxing Day

The Welsh Government have decided that all football matches and other sport can only be held behind closed doors from Boxing Day onwards.

They say the decision has been taken in an effort to slow down the number of Omicron cases occuring.

However a £3m Spectator Sports Fund will be available to support clubs and venues.

In the National League Wrexham's game against Solihull Moors on Boxing Day will be affected by the spectator ban.

Given the Welsh decision, which covers sport at all levels, will there be pressure on the FA to follow?
