Latest Talking Bull On-Sale at Chester match

In case you missed it - the latest edition of Talking Bull, the Independent Hereford Football Club Supporters’ Magazine, is on-sale outside Edgar Street ahead of the clash with Chester.

Issue 132 is already selling quickly - so if you are looking for a printed copy, get yours nice and early as when they’re gone – they’re gone!

Listen out for Simon Wright whose dulcet tones will be ringing around the stadium from around 1:30pm from our usual vantage point adjacent to the Club Shop. Look out too for our brand new advertising board!

This bumper 48-page edition is packed solid with content, as we take an in depth look at new signing Victor Sodeinde, Krystian Pearce and Pa Sulay Nije.

Karan Rai looks ahead to the World Cup in Qatar 2022, with a detailed look at the stadia, transport and the environment in the spotlight.

We look back at Hereford FC in the 1880’s. Yes, that’s right Hereford Football Club has history – although the Bulls captain Albert Walters was the centre of attention due to all the wrong reasons as he was sent off and charged for assaulting an opponent!

Simon Wright is nostalgic over trips to Salisbury, Lymington and Leeds, whilst Andy Walkden’s camera lens casts an eye over Adam Bartlett, Tom Owen-Evans and Luke Haines as he reveals some of his favourite memories.

Terry Goodwin suggests the club re-names the Edgar Street stadium to boost club coffers- but warns this needs to be a nationwide brand.

The prospect of restoring the club name of Hereford United is the focus of attention for Chris Hare as he suggests the club can profit financially if the name United is re-instated. He says getting the name back in its rightful place will make the majority of supporters feel that justice has been done, and by being ‘United’ the club and its supporters can move forward.

We also bring you the best from our plethora of contributors; with more new writers making their Talking Bull debuts!

This issue of Talking Bull retails at the normal price of £3, but if you are unable to visit Edgar Street or watch Hereford ‘away’ games when the fanzine is often on sale, why not consider subscribing, or downloading a digital copy at £2.99.

Subscriptions are on an eight-issue cycle, and you are reminded ahead the final date of this period, thereby ensuring you don’t miss a copy of Talking Bull, the best fanzine in Non-League football.

Digital and printed copies are available NOW via our online shop.

Better still, why not collect your brand new issue outside Edgar Street ahead of the Chester match – whilst stocks last.
