It looks as though Shrewsbury Town is set to be sold to a local businessman, Paul Delves, who is managing director of Montgomery Waters.
Current chairman and owner Roland Wycherley is looking to sell after 25 years and according to the Shropshire Star a deal has been agreed in principle.
A valuation of £12M has been put on the deal by The Sun.
Delves is vice-chairman of the club. He became a director two years ago.
