Jon Hale has spoken to the Hereford FC website about his hope that he can help bring stability to the club after a difficult 16 months.
The new club chairman also noted the need to balance the books whilst pushing forward.
"The past 16 months have been very difficult for everyone, and not being able to attend football matches at Edgar Street and beyond has been excruciating for us all.
"I firmly believe our supporters are bursting to get back inside Edgar Street, to support the brilliant work Josh Gowling and Steve Burr have done, and enjoy again the excitement of watching Hereford FC.
"We are going to build a competitive squad for next season, and I am confident with fans back in good numbers getting behind the players, things will be very positive.
"As Chairman, I will ensure our Board of Directors drive the club forward in a sustainable, but ambitious manner with supporters at the very core of our club, whether you regularly attend matches or rely on the superb array of media platforms that cover the club with such passion.
"The Board want every one of you to know yoursupport is valued and important. It really is.
"As much as we want to push the club along, and be ambitious, I feel we desperately need stability across the club – in the Boardroom, in the dugout, on the pitch – to build together and achieve our ultimate goal of Football League status.
"We can get there."
