Hereford FC manager Josh Gowling has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that striker Joey Butlin is a slight doubt for Saturday's FA Trophy final.
Gowling said that they had concerns over Butlin who, he said, has a calf injury. The striker may have a scan on Thursday to see if he can play.
"Joey has been struggling with his calf," said Gowling.
"He hasn't been involved so he is touch and go for Saturday.
"We will get him accessed.
"We'll probably take him for a scan on Thursday to see if he is going to be able to play or not."
However in an interview recorded yesterday with YourHereford's Matt Healey, there was no mention of any injury.
Butlin said that he can't wait for Saturday.
"I'm buzzing for it.
"But as soon as we get on the pitch it's just another game."
Butlin was full of praise for manager Josh Gowling.
"He's won us most of the games. Mostly it comes down to his tactics and his game plan.
"He probably doesn't get enough credit for it."
