COUNTDOWN TO WEMBLEY | Key information regarding FA Trophy Final


So the big day is almost upon us. Hereford will once again grace Wembley, but this time it is in the FA Trophy Final when Josh Gowling's team take on Hornchurch. Below is key information regarding Saturday's game.

What time is kick off?

4.15pm.

Will there be extra time and penalties?

It is understood that there will be extra time if the tie is level after 90 minutes, with then penalties if required. Throughout the competition thus far, there has been no extra time.

How many fans are going to the game?

Both Hereford and Hornchurch have been allocated 3,000 tickets, with all of them being sold. Reg Reynolds, organiser of Hereford Away Days, is running three 74-seat coaches as well as a minibus. Fans are being asked to arrive at 8.15am to load for a 9am departure. The coaches will park at The Green Man pub near to Wembley Stadium.

How much it is to park at Wembley?

Parking at the stadium will set you back £30.

What are the Covid restrictions that are in place for the game?

Supporters are being asked to wear face masks at all times, maintain social distancing where possible and adhere to good hygiene. However, they do not have to a lateral flow test prior to the game and they will not be asked to provide evidence of a negative test once at Wembley.

Any other restrictions?

No will is allowed to bring in any food or drink inside the vicinity, while there will be no alcohol sold in any general admission area. More information here. Meanwhile, only bags smaller than an A4 piece of paper is allowed and will be searched upon entry.

Is the game on TV?

Yes, the match is on BTSport1, with coverage starting at 3.45pm. Last year's delayed final was 'free to air' to non subscribers due to no fans being present at Wembley. However, it is understood that people will have to subscribe to BTSport in order to watch the game if they don't already receive the channel. Monthly passes are £25.

Are any pubs showing the game?

Yes, plenty of pubs in Herefordshire that have BTSport will be showing the game. Likewise, if you live outside of the county and your local has BTSport, tell them to put it on :-)

What are the latest odds?

Hereford are the odds-on favourites, currently priced at 5/12, with Hornchurch 13/8. The Bulls are 4/5 to win the match inside 90 minutes, while the Urchins are 3/1.
