Two Apprentice Vacancies At Edgar Street

Hereford FC have announced that they are looking to recruit two apprentices to work at Edgar Street.

The first post is an:

Admin Support Apprentice

To provide admin support to a wide range of departments throughout the club including, but not limited to; commercial, community, volunteers, ticketing and retail, hospitality and media.

  • Be the first point of contact via phone and reception for visitors
  • Monitor the main club email address and respond appropriately
  • Undertake general administrative duties, including, but not limited to, opening and sorting mail, filing, keeping the office clean and tidy and updating spreadsheets and forms
  • Help support volunteers with the club shop, fulfilling online orders, updating stock levels, receiving orders, covering volunteer lunch-breaks etc
  • Help support ticket sales and the administration of the ticketing system
  • Assist with pre-match safety checks and preparation for home games

The second post is a: 

Digital Marketing Apprentice 

Assist in the creation and delivery of the clubs media and marketing plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

  • Help maintain the official Hereford FC website and social media accounts
  • Assist in the creation of marketing and content plans
  • Provide matchday social media coverage
  • Help maintain email databases for fans, commercial clients, volunteers etc
  • Send regular email communications to various stakeholders
  • Be first point of contact for media enquiries
  • Help arrange matchday media accreditation for all home games
  • Liaise with the First Team manager to ensure weekly press obligations are met
  • Undertake interviews with management / players and transcribe / upload where necessary
  • Film and edit training, matches and other events in order to help promote the club
  • Manage the image library
  • Work with the Programme Editor to help compile and promote matchday programme
  • Provide Media & Marketing support to other departments within the club
