With the news that Hereford will play Woking at Edgar Street in the semi-final of the FA Trophy on March 27th, BN looks back to January 1992.
Hereford had been drawn away at Woking in the third round of the FA Cup. The tie was played on Saturday January 4th.
The result was a 0-0 draw.
After the game Woking manager Geoff Chapple noted that Hereford didn't have a shot on target.
"Coming to a non-league club and playing like that takes some believing.
When we go down there we will be going there to attack."
In his post match comments Hereford manager John Sillett said he was happy with the draw.
"Woking are a good side, very well organised. They got a lot of men
forward and we had a lot of men back. It was a very disciplined
performance.
"Going forward we lacked the flair we normally have."

Heritage remembered the games.
"We got drawn away at Woking and the match report in The Sun said that I had gone around kicking everyone in the Woking back four.
"We knew it was going to be a tough game because Woking had enjoyed some good cup runs and I remember Sillett telling us we would be going out there and we were not going to get beaten."
Next for the Bulls in the competition was a trip to Nottingham Forest.
