Trophy Run Has Been A Life-Line Said Gowling

Hereford manager Josh Gowling has said that the run in the FA Trophy tie has kept the season alive.

"It's been massive, it's been a life-line really," Gowling told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Obviously the league stopped a month ago so it's enabled us to keep training and give the fans another opportunity to watch us play.

"That's been something I'm really pleased we've been able to give back."

Tomorrow the Bulls take on Woking in the semi-final.

"What we've tried to do is not really look at it as a competition but an extension to the league.

"The one thing that will separate us from the other team is can we deal with the the stop-start.

"I like to thing we have. That focus has been there and is ever-present.

"The league stopped so we shifted our focus to the next game which is the FA Trophy and that's how we've dealt with it."
