The news that the National North League season is to be suspended for two weeks came as no surprise especially given the number of clubs who had supported the idea.
However the suspension will mean that there will be more fixture congestion, always assuming the season restarts which is by no means certain.
For Hereford FC the suspension means that a further four games will need to be rearranged.
Sat Jan 23: Farsley Celtic (h)
Tue Jan 26: York City (h)
Sat Jan 30: Boston United (a)
Tue Feb 2: AFC Telford Utd (a)

Again assuming the FA Trophy continues, Hereford's next game will now be on February 6th at home to Leamington in the Fifth Round of the competition.
Further League games in February are as below.
Tue Feb 9: Curzon Ashton (h)
Sat Feb 13: Bradford PA (a)
Tue Feb 16: Brackley Town (h)Sat Feb 13: Bradford PA (a)
Sat Feb 20: Southport (h)

For manager Josh Gowling the break couldn't have come at a worse time as regards the form of the club. Seven games without defeat is a decent return.
However there is speculation that Giles Coke has left Hereford and may be joining Grimsby, and more worrying that Lenell John-Lewis could also be leaving Edgar Street.
If correct then Gowling may need to try and bring in a striker to strengthen the squad. At least he has two weeks to look around.
