It is believed that both Lenell John-Lewis and Giles Coke are interesting Grimsby Town.
As previously reported, Coke has been training with the Mariners and was unavailable for Hereford's FA Trophy tie at Stamford on Tuesday night.
Grimsby manager Paul Hurst says the midfielder will continue training with the League Two club next week before he makes a decision on him.
Lethal marksman John-Lewis was also missing for the Stamford match, with Bulls manager Josh Gowling saying after the game that he had a migraine.
However, it's being rumoured that the striker may also be on Hurst's radar.
Hereford will now not play for at least two weeks after it was confirmed earlier today that the National League North will be suspended.
Therefore, if John-Lewis does leave the club then Gowling will need to bring in a striker in time for when the Bulls resume their campaign.
