Stamford take on Hereford in the FA Trophy on Saturday and midfielder Rob Morgan thinks they can knock the Bulls out of the competition.
The 'Daniels' are the only eighth-tier club remaining in the Trophy and they have already knocked out a National North League side, Kidderminster, so hopes are high of another giant-killing.
Stamford returned to training last week. Currently no games are being played in their league, the Northern Premier.
"It was difficult in the spell after beating Kidderminster as we weren’t sure if we were able to train, so we were back to doing individual runs and exercises.," Morgan told the Peterborough Telegraph.
"But once we got the nod to train, we have been fully focused and we feel ready.
"We have such a good team this year and I think we are capable of playing at a higher level, as we showed by beating Kidderminster.
"I would back us against anyone, especially at home, and I think we’ll do well on Saturday. I think we’ll win."
