Hereford have released striker Demetri Brown.
Last week Brown rejoined Worcester City on a dual registration deal and scored two goals for City last Saturday.
However Hereford manager Josh Gowling has decided to release him.
“It’s unfortunate that it hasn’t worked out for Demetri whilst he’s been here.
“A number of injuries has meant that he hasn’t featured as much as we needed him to and so I’ve had to make the difficult decision to let him go."
Gowling spoke about Brown last night after the Chester defeat.
"Brown was available for the game."
Gowling then mentioned 'family issues'.
Whether his release will allow Gowling to bring someone in seems unlikely.
"We've got the squad we've got," said Gowling.
"Financially we can't bring anyone else in."
Meanwhile Gowling confirmed that Kelsey Mooney missed the game because of an injury.
