Despite losing 5-3 at Chester last night, Hereford manager Josh Gowling felt his side controlled the game.
“We were in control the whole game to be honest, they haven’t cut us open once and every single goal was an individual error,” said Gowling as reported by the Hereford Times.
“A bad clearance, the goalkeeper cost us a couple of goals and Owen-Evans on the edge of the box (conceding the ball) if you’re going to do things like that you’re not going to win games of football.
“You go away from home and score three goals you expect to win the game the simple fact is we haven’t.
“It didn’t go horribly wrong and we still controlled the game. It’s five individual errors.”
