Gloucester striker Akwasi Asante has joined his former manager James Rowe at Chesterfield.
Rowe was confirmed as the Spireites' new boss for Thursday and now Gloucester have seen their lethal marksman join the National League side for an undisclosed fee.
However, as part of the deal, Chesterfield have confirmed that no other contracted Gloucester players will be approaches.
Akwasi - who was sent off during Gloucester's 1-0 win over Hereford last week - has scored eight goals in 10 appearances so far this season.
