Hereford FC captain Jared Hodgkiss spoke to Keith Hall after yesterday's 3-3 draw with Kettering.
"We've made a bit of a thing about not picking up many points here and wanting it to be a fortress so very frustrating especially as a defender," said Hodgkiss.
"The defenders are more disappointed than anyone because of the goals we conceded, especially the one where he is on the edge of the box on his own from a long throw.
"Frustrating afternoon but great determination to get something out of the game.
"I think teams are going to be a little bit in awe of us coming to this stadium so we've got to find ways of dealing with that.
"We went 1-0 up, maybe we should have sat in a little bit and soaked up a bit of pressure and then hit them on the counter attack.
"But I don't think the Gaffer wants us to do it that way so we've just got to believe in what he's doing and implement his game plan and do a bit better than what we did today. Then hopefully we'll get the results that we all want.
"We've got some good players in that dressing room, we just need to more focused for ninety minutes because we're very good in long spells but we're switching off at certain times and they are punishing us for it."
Hodgkiss scored one of Hereford's three goals.
"I just want to win games of football. We haven't won in either game I've scored in so it means nothing really.
"If the strikers score three and we win 3-0 I'll take that all day long over me scoring.
"Obviously it's nice to score but I want to win games of football for Hereford."
Hodgkiss is hopeful that a win at home will change things.
"Confidence is everything in football. I've been in it long enough to know that confidence is everything.
"If we get that first win here and get the confidence then we'll be strong."
