Barnet defeated Burton 1-0 in the FA Cup this afternoon despite being a man short for over half the game.
Despite being the underdogs Peter Beadle's outfit took the lead on ten minutes when Wes Fonguck scored.
However close to half-time Matt Preston was red carded after pulling his man down when through on goal.
More problems for Beadle when former Hereford FC midfielder Elliot Richards had to leave the field having picked up an injury midway through the second half.
But the Bees held on to go into the draw for round two on Monday.
After the game Beadle said that Richard's injury 'doesn't sound like a good one'.
He also commended his players.
"People who know me and Steve, we have teams that when the chips are down they don't throw the towel in."
