Gosport manager Shaun Gale felt both of Hereford's penalties in the FA Cup tie last Saturday were 'soft'.
However he admitted that Hereford had a lot of quality in their squad. The Bulls scored two of their three goals from the spot.
"Both penalties were soft," said Gale as reported by The News.
"Their second one really killed us because we had just scored and seized the momentum.
"The important thing was that even after going two goals down the players didn't let their heads drop."
As for the game itself Gale felt his side started slowly.
"We didn't really start as well as I would have liked and allowed Hereford to get a bit of momentum.
"After our slow start we caused them a lot of problems.
"Bradley Tarbuck down the one side caused them some concern.
"There were some good performances out there.
"Take nothing away from Hereford, they have got a lot of good quality in their side."
