Season ticket and matchday prices released

Hereford have released the season ticket and matchday prices for the 2020/21 campaign, with Edgar Street's capacity set to be 1,325.

Only season ticket renewals will be in place first, with those on the terrace (priced at £253 for adults) to be sold from 2pm on Monday up to 9am the following Monday (September 14).

Phase two renewal sales will then take place for seats, priced at £287 for adults, before all sections go on general sale. Adult matchday tickets will be £15.50 terrace and £18 seating respectively.

Hereford are encouraging as many 'social bubbles' as possible, as the more single season tickets there are, the more impact it will have on the ground's capacity.

"We are considering all aspects of how this can be attained," says the club, as reported on their official website.

"We will give you the opportunity to let us know who may be in your “legal social bubble”, that we can safely put together and maximise the crowd attendance and allocate seats accordingly. Helping us increase the capacity, in this way, will allow more fans to enjoy football at Edgar Street.

"As most fans have previously purchased their tickets independently of family and friends in their “social bubble” it would really help the Club to know who can sit with who when allocating the seats. We will be encouraging all Season Ticket Holders to renew online only to keep face-to-face contact to a minimum, for the safety of our office staff, volunteers and fellow supporters."

On the pricing structure, the club added: "Due to the ongoing challenges of Covid-19, significant cost increases related to the pandemic and to enable us to remain competitive in the National League North, the Board has agreed a small increase in Season Tickets on general sale and Matchday Ticket prices.

These related, unexpected additional costs to the Club, include;

  • Reduced Capacity in the Stadium
  • No Bumper grounds for our local Derbies
  • Support for Josh Gowling to have a budget that enables him to challenge competitively this season
  • Increased costs to ensure the biggest asset of the Stadium is both safe and compliant for fans.

"The Board are, however, mindful and respect the fact that some fans paid for fixtures that didn’t materialise in 2019/20.

"The Board believe they have found the best way forward that enables the Club to offer a solution to those of you who suffered this.  Please look out for your Season Ticket Renewal Notice email, over the weekend."
