Hereford claimed a very good 2-0 win over Cymru Premier League side TNS this afternoon - their first victory of their pre-season campaign.
Considering TNS are a full-time outfit and have been league champions in eight of the previous nine years and have been competing in the Europa League qualifiers.
Both goals came in the first half and were scored by trialists. The first was in the second minute when the left-back drove home with a striker's deflected effort going in just before the break.
As expected, TNS dominated possession at times but Hereford nullified their threat and had chances to score more. There will be more about the match later.
