Map of next season's National League North

Following Altrincham's promotion to National League North, we now know how National League North is likely to look like next season unless Bury are allowed into it. If the latter does happen, the likely scenario is that Gloucester will move to National League South.

Due to only Stevenage being relegated from League Two, Maidenhead (who finished 21st in the National League) stayed up, meaning that only three teams were relegated. Two of of those teams - AFC Fylde and Chorley - drop into the North. No teams have been promoted to National League North due to all Step 3 leagues being declared null and void due to the coronavirus pandemic.
