June 7th 2016 and the news was mainly about players signing for Hereford FC.
Here's a look back:
Jamie Cuss Joins Bulls
Jamie
Cuss has agreed terms to play at Edgar Street for the coming season,
meaning he is Pete Beadle's second signing after he brought in Jamie
Edge last week.
The player donned the captain's armband at Westfields last season, netting 31 goals in his 50 appearance, finishing as the 'Fields topscorer.

He played against Hereford in
each of the four matches where the two sides met last season, but
couldn't manage to get his name on scoresheet.
"I’m delighted to sign another local lad who has proved himself capable of scoring goals," Beadle told the OS.
"He will be a great addition to the squad and gives us something that we haven’t already got."
Cuss Goes With Our Blessing Said Morris
Andy Morris from Westfields has spoken about the move of Jamie Cuss to Hereford.
"He goes with our blessing," Morris told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He's a fantastic player and it's a great move for Jamie to move up the ladder.
"He deserves it, he's had eight or nine good seasons at Westfields.
"He can play mid-field, he can play up front so good luck to him.
"30 goals in 49 appearances it's tremendous.
"He wants to play football every week, he doesn't want to be sat on the bench, he'll do a great job for Hereford."
Morris said that he doesn't mind players moving up a level as they are bettering themselves.
"Last year they took
our captain Joel Edwards who moved up a level, this year they've taken
our captain Jamie Cuss. Last mid-season they took Anthony Robbins.
"I've got no problem with that at all."
Next Season's Squad Further Bolstered
Further to this morning's news
that Jamie Cuss had joined the Bulls from near-neighbours Westfields,
John Mills and Pablo Haysham have signed contract extensions for the
2016/17 season.
The pair join Martin Horsell, Joel Edwards, Jamie Willets, Ross Staley, Mike Symons, Anthony Robbins, Jamie Edge and Jamie Cuss who have all agreed terms for next season.
Max Harris
and Rory Huntbach are also signed up for first team duties after their
impressive performances for UITC's U16s last season.
Haysham congratulates Mills after he scored Hereford's fifth in a 6-1 win over Coventry Sphinx |
"It is fantastic that
John and Pablo have both agreed to stay for next season, their
contribution to the team last season was obvious to all," manager Pete
Beadle told the OS.
"The squad is really starting to take shape now and we are all looking forward to returning to training at the end of June."
Mills scored 52 goals in 53 appearances, with Pablo Haysham scoring 29 from 49 games.
