Rhys Davies has joined Aberystwyth Town after turning down a deal to stay at Hereford.
The 19-year-old left-back struggled to force himself into the Bulls' first team last season and went on loan to Merthyr.
Prior to joining Hereford, Davies was on loan at Nuneaton and Chippingham after joining Shrewsbury on a scholarship programme.
Aberystwyth finished 9th in the Cymru Premier League last season.
“I am really excited to be signing for Aberystwyth and playing in the Cymru Premier League, looking forward to getting started and showing everyone at Park Avenue what I can do and having a successful season,” said Davies.
Former Hereford FC coach Matt Bishop is the club's football consultant.
