Hereford FC are asking supporters to donate towards its Pitch Maintenance Fund.
The club are looking to raise £6,000 of the £7,500 needed to fund the work after already securing a grant of £1,500.
Groundsman Ben Bowen and Highground Maintenance have outlined a plan of works to bring the pitch up to scratch when football restarts, but with no football having taken place at Edgar Street since the end of February, the club say they are not in a position to fund the work.
Fans can donate here or cheque donations can be posted to the club.
A special digital programme will commemorate the fundraising, with every donator having their name mentioned. Anyone donating £50 or more will also be entered into a draw to win one of a number of special Hereford FC experiences in the coming season. This includes being a Director for the Day at a match, mascot packages, and joining the manager for a pre-match chat in his office before a game.
