The Football Association has given the National League an extension to the 2019/20 season so that play-offs can be held in all three National Leagues.
However this doesn't automatically mean play-offs will take place.
What it appears to mean is that National clubs will may have another option to vote for. To date various options have been suggested such as points per game system to decide who finishes where in the table or declaring the season void.
As yet clubs have not voted on 'how to end the season'.
In essence they are waiting for the EFL to decide about promotion to and releation from League Two to the National Premier.
At least one club will be promoted to League Two given Bury FC is no more.
