Despite Hereford FC reporting last week that it had gone into 'hiberation' it now appears that club secretary Martin Watson remains working at Edgar Street at the request of the FA.
Amidst other duties, Watson is now running the official website, sorting online club shop orders, and looking after the stadium.
Probably more importantly he has confirmed that National League Clubs are voting whether to end the season as soon as possible. If passed there will be a second vote to determine 'exactly how the season ends'.
Watson said, as reported on the OS.
'As a Club we are voting for the season to end immediately. With the
current season potentially running to September, and no guarantees on
being able to play in front of spectators during that time, there are
far too many financial uncertainties to consider carrying on the season.'
