Sadly that is not happening and Hereford FC chairman Andrew Graham has said that the loss of revenue will be difficult to make up.
“Tomorrow would have seen us welcome promotion hopefuls King’s Lynn Town to Edgar Street in a game that was likely to have attracted a larger than average crowd," said Graham.
“Our hospitality was once again sold out and I am sure we would have all been looking forward to challenging ourselves against one of the best teams in the league.
“Unfortunately, we have now got to face a big loss of matchday revenue that we would have taken on Saturday, which will be extremely hard to make up for.
“Our ‘virtual’ match tickets remain on sale, and there are still some lines left in our ‘special offer’ discounts in the club shop. I appreciate that these are difficult times for all of us, but if any supporter can afford to make a small donation or purchase we would be extremely grateful."
