Hereford's 25 year stay in the Football League sadly came to an end. Despite amassing 47 points (which in most seasons would have kept the club up), the Bulls were relegated to the GM Vauxhall Conference.
Adrian Foster and Dean Smith scored the goals, but it seemed nobody else would chip in, and Hereford would spend the next season as a non league club.
