James Bowen One Game Away From Wembley

Former Hereford FC winger James Bowen is just one game away from a probable visit to Wembley.

Bowen currently plays for Halesowen Town who are to play Concord Rangers in a two-legged FA Trophy semi-final.

Halesowen have already knocked out teams such as Maidenhead United, FC Halifax Town and Barnet in the competition and Bowen has been ever-present.

"The key to our upsets in the FA Trophy has 100 per cent been the togetherness from everyone involved, from the players and staff to the unbelievable set of fans we have," Bowen said as reported by GloucestershireLive

"It’s been a massive achievement for the club just getting to the semis, but we don’t want to stop just there.

"I've loved every minute of this run and I just hope it doesn't end soon."

Bowen combines his football with coaching in schools but would like to return to being full-time which he was when with Cheltenham.

"It hasn’t been easy since I left Cheltenham, adapting to just playing a couple nights a week and working full-time.

"But you just have to keep on top form and the dream of returning to full-time football might still happen."
