Former Hereford FC winger James Bowen is just one game away from a probable visit to Wembley.
Bowen currently plays for Halesowen Town who are to play Concord Rangers in a two-legged FA Trophy semi-final.
Halesowen have already knocked out teams such as Maidenhead United, FC Halifax Town and Barnet in the competition and Bowen has been ever-present.
"It’s been a massive achievement for the club just getting to the semis, but we don’t want to stop just there.
"I've loved every minute of this run and I just hope it doesn't end soon."
Bowen combines his football with coaching in schools but would like to return to being full-time which he was when with Cheltenham.
"It hasn’t been easy since I left Cheltenham, adapting to just playing a couple nights a week and working full-time.
"But you just have to keep on top form and the dream of returning to full-time football might still happen."
