For this campaign Colin Addison returned as manager, but sadly the club ended up finishing 17th in Division Four. There were some highlights, a fantastic 3-0 win over now Premier League Burnley at Edgar Street, and a brilliant 2-0 win over Cardiff City at Ninian Park.
