Bowen Scores For Hereford Against Alfreton In April 2014 |
Jarrod Bowen could make his debut for West Ham this evening. The former Hereford United and Hull player is almost certain to be in the Hammers's squad for a Premier League game at Manchester City.
However manager David Moyes is not giving much away.
“He’s come in and settled in very quickly, he’s looked very sharp in training. He’s obviously had loads of games, it’s not as if he’s short of match practice or match fitness in any way so I have been pleased.
“But I am also wary of putting the boys in too quickly. I have had lots of boys from the Championship in the past and I think it’s important that you put them in at the right time, the right moments, at the right time and we will just take our time and see when it’s right for Jarrod.”
Meanwhile according to the West Ham OS, Bowen has a habit of scoring on making his first appreance against a new opponent, he has managed this 13 times in a Hull shirt and once as a 17 year old for Hereford United (at Edgar Street against Alfreton).
The list is Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Brentford, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Fulham, Ipswich Town, Nottingham Forest, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City, Wigan Athletic and Alfreton Town.
Could Manchester City be next on Bowen's list?
