Hereford chairman Andrew Graham, pictured, has admitted that the club has not been demonstrating that they're a fans club as clearly as they should have been.
The Bulls are on the search for their third manager in just 16 months after Russell Slade left the club yesterday.
Speaking to the club's official website, Graham said: "We do not want a revolving door syndrome to take hold here, but we do feel that there is a need for a complete revamp of how we do things both on and off the pitch.
“The fans need to be at the heart of our decision making and our actions,” Graham added. As a board we believe that a shake-up of how we do things has been long overdue and we all appreciate that changes have to happen.
“We don’t feel that we have been demonstrating that we are a fans club as clearly as we should have been and for that, I apologise.
“The fans have always been important to us but I feel that we must work harder to engage with fans and to show them that they are integral to the success of this football club. Our local community needs a thriving Football Club and we must all work together to ensure that happens.
“We have budgeted on gates of 2,200 and for our club to be thriving we need to be regularly attracting that level of support.
“Of course we appreciate that there must be an entertaining product for the fans to get behind out on the pitch, but I firmly believe that the squad we have is better than the results we have been getting recently.
“I would plead with everyone to rally around the players for the remainder of the season and help turn this season around. Let’s start with Saturday’s important match against Curzon Ashton, it would be great to see as many fans at Edgar Street as possible and to hear that famous Meadow End roar once more.”
