Hereford FC have signed former Bristol City keeper James Carey.
Head coach Marc Richards announced the signing during his post-match press conference.
19 year old Carey was keeping goal during the warm-up at Edgar Street this afternoon.
"James Carey has signed for us," said Richards.
"Carey is ex Bristol City, has a good pedigree behind him.
"He was with us today warming Brandon (Hall) up but I didn't select him in the five.
"We had that conversation the other day whether I have a goalkeeper on the bench or not but he'll be available throughout the season.
"Jahquil Hill, it was difficult for Jahquil. He doesn't drive and he's been struggling with a bit of an ankle injury.
"But he wanted to play, we couldn't guarantee he would play, so he's gone to find first team football elsewhere."
