Four second half goals saw Hereford comfortably beat Ludlow 5-0 this afternoon.
To their credit, Ludlow - who ply their trade in West Midlands (Regional League) Division Two - defended admirably in the first half, with their goalkeeper Liam Griffiths in inspired form.
But Hereford finally managed to break the deadlock on the stroke half time when Griffiths was caught in possession, leaving Alex Bray to roll the ball into an empty net.
Hereford's superior fitness then told in the second half - with the gulf in class between the two sides evident.
Liam Bishop made it 2-0 in the 54th minute, crashing home the rebound after Kyle Finn's shot hit the woodwork before Keiron Thomas netted 10 minutes later.
Further goals were then scored by Rowan Liburd (78th minute) and Tom Owen-Evans (89) to round off a comfortable win.
