Adam Hockey scored twice for Hereford Lads Club in a 10-1 pre-season hammering of Lydbrook Athletic at the weekend.
The youngster started last season at Hereford after impressing on trial, but later went on loan at Lads Club where he had been previously.
In May, Hereford reported that Hockey had been invited back for pre-season training.
